Ray and Mary

Together Again.

MobilePack May 26th, 8pm at The Crossing Church in Costa Mesa. Contact me below for info.

Mary Gallagher joined her beloved husband Ray on February 24th, 2011. She passed over in her sleep surrounded by family that cherished her every waking moment. She will be greatly missed, but we have comfort in knowing she is much happier now beside her husband of 55 years. Mary's husband, and our father, Ray D. Gallagher passed away in November of 2003. Not a day went by that she did not miss his embrace..........They are happy, together again.

In lieu of flowers, please make a small donation to Feed My Starving Children. Any contribution would be appreciated. A group of us will be joining The Crossing Church, May 26 at 8PM, in their effort to pack 200,000 meals for children around the world. Those devastated in the Japan earthquake will be included. If you would like to join us for this event, please contact me for the place and time. Donate here. In Memory of Ray and Mary Gallagher. Thank you.

In addition, as the pictures of their wonderful life together, as well as the family and friends they held close come in, we will post them to this slide show. To learn more about Feed My Starving Children and see how your community can participate www.fmsc.org

The Plan of the Master Weaver

My life is but a weaving between the Lord and me,
I may not choose the colors,
He knows what they should be
for He can view the pattern upon the upper side,
while I can see it only on this, the under side…

Sometimes He weaveth sorrow, which seemeth strange to me,
but I will trust His judgement, and work on faithfully,
‘tis He who fills the shuttle, and He knows what is best,
so I shall weave in earnest, leaving to Him the rest…

Not till the loom is silent and the shuttles cease to fly
shall God unroll the canvas and explain the reason why –
the dark threads are as needed in the Weaver’s skillful hand
as the threads of gold and silver in the pattern He has planned.

The Broken Chain

We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly.
In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone,
for part of us went with you
the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories.
Your love is still our guide.
And though we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the Chain will link again.

I’m Free

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free,
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard him call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
to laugh, to love, to work or play;
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things too I will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I’ve savored much.
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and share with me,
I’m with God now, I’ve been set free.
